I recently completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Computer Systems Engineering at the University of Auckland. My interests include cloud infrastructure, data engineering, backend systems, Linux, and distributed system design.
What I focus on
I like projects that connect multiple components together in a meaningful way, whether that is a cloud pipeline, a container deployment workflow, or a system that needs careful troubleshooting to work reliably.

Containerised and deployed a web application using Docker, Amazon ECR, Amazon ECS, and AWS CodePipeline, with practical troubleshooting of deployment and image compatibility issues.
Mobile App with Backend Bluetooth Scanning Support
Built a cross-platform mobile application with a custom REST API and MySQL backend, with native Bluetooth integration for both iOS and Android.
AI-Powered Job Application Tailoring Platform
An intelligent platform that generates tailored CVs and cover letters from a user's stored profile. Built with AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS (PostgreSQL), and Amazon Bedrock for AI-powered requirement extraction and relevance matching.
Personal Portfolio Website
This portfolio site, hosted entirely on AWS using S3, CloudFront, and Route 53. Static files are served from a private S3 bucket through a CloudFront distribution with a custom domain and HTTPS via ACM.

Worked on implementing and validating key components of the Bittide protocol, including dynamic clocking, FIFO buffering, and communication logic on FPGA-based hardware, with regular technical presentations and system debugging.
